- Boonie crusher. At first I envisioned myself traveling to the boonies to wear this hat. It made sense. I could pack it up to go, throw it in my back seat and when i wanted to venture into the fields I would throw this bad boy onto my head to protect me 360 degrees. I then realized quickly that I would need the same protection in the city. I tried to rename it the boonie/city crusher hat but once again quickly realized that boonie was the name of the hat which coincidentally means a hunting hat so my boonie reference was applicable in the end.
